What you'll do
Are you ready to elevate your UX research skills and make a difference in healthcare? As a Senior UX Researcher at the Dutch College of General Practitioners, you will work on enhancing the user experience of Thuisarts, a platform providing reliable information on health and illness. You will collaborate closely with a team of UX designers and other specialists to develop innovative solutions that improve user interaction. You will research, develop, and implement designs based on user data, translating abstract ideas into concrete adjustments and new products. With your experience in UX research, you will contribute to strategic goals and help future-proof Thuisarts.
Tasks
Set up and coordinate the UX studio
Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research
Analyze research results and translate into actionable insights
Report findings with context and impact
Develop a UX roadmap
Support project leaders and product owners with planning and roadmaps
Transfer UX output to the Dataservices department
Support project leaders in setting up research and validation plans
Functionally manage the UX team
Contribute to the strategic goals of Thuisarts.
Where you'll work
You will work at the Dutch College of General Practitioners, an organization committed to providing reliable and clear information on health and illness. Thuisarts, a brand of this organization, gathers medical knowledge from doctors and healthcare providers and makes it accessible to the public. The platform helps people make informed health choices and supports doctors and healthcare providers in their communication with patients. The Research & Development department, which you will be part of, aims to keep Thuisarts future-proof and continuously innovates based on research and developments in healthcare. You will work in a dynamic team of about 10 people, including project leaders, UX designers, and a data scientist, in an inspiring work environment in Utrecht with the flexibility to work from home.

What you’ll need
University level work and thinking ability with preferably a relevant education
At least 7 years of experience in UX research
At least 3 years of experience as a leader or team leader
Analytical skills and collegial attitude
Experience with UX and research processes
Knowledge of ideation and design thinking
Experience with Agile/Scrum methods
Familiarity with interaction design and co-creation tools like Figma and Miro
Preferred: experience with UX design in healthcare
Preferred: knowledge of frontend coding and interaction development.
