Hands-on AI workshop for experienced UX researchers covering prompting, research workflows, critical evaluation, and responsible AI use in practice.
This UXinsight Learning Lab helps UX research professionals use AI with confidence instead of relying on trial and error. Rather than focusing on prompt tricks alone, you'll learn how large language models actually work, where they fail, and how to critically evaluate their output. Short theory sessions are immediately followed by practical exercises, giving you a deeper understanding of AI's strengths and limitations in research. Throughout the day you'll work on hands-on exercises, including creating and reviewing interview guides, analysing interviews, identifying AI mistakes, working with qualitative and quantitative data, and building your own prompting system. You'll also learn when AI adds value and when human judgement remains essential. The workshop is aimed at mid- to senior-level UX researchers, design researchers, service designers, CX specialists and market researchers who already use AI and want to take their skills further. Led by UX expert Tara Bosenick, the in-person session takes place in Utrecht and equips participants with a practical AI framework, an actionable checklist, and the confidence to apply AI more effectively and responsibly in their everyday research practice.
