What you'll do
As a Service Designer at Livework, you’ll work on challenges that truly matter. Think projects within government, healthcare, or social organisations, where you directly impact people’s lives. You’ll often juggle multiple projects at once, ranging from short engagements to longer programmes where you help organisations transform from within. You’ll conduct interviews with diverse groups, translate insights into clear journeys, and develop concepts that you test in real-life contexts. You don’t stop at ideas, you help make sure solutions are implemented. You’ll collaborate with experienced colleagues who challenge and support you, while also taking ownership of your own projects. You’ll contribute to strategy, policy, and the growth of the studio. No day looks the same: one day you’re facilitating a workshop, the next you’re refining a strategic narrative or diving into research. You’ll easily switch between detail and big picture, and know how to bring people along in your thinking.

Livework is a strategic design consultancy focused on societal challenges in the Netherlands. What you’ll need
3 to 5 years of relevant experience- Fluent in Dutch
- Academic level of thinking and working
- Background in design or strategic design
- Experience with the full design process
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Curious and reflective mindset
- Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity
