What you'll do
At Polarsteps, you’ll step into the role of Senior Product Designer for Digital Relive: one of travel’s most meaningful moments, looking back on the journey. You’ll lead the design of shareable trip formats like Trip Reels and Map Video, from concept and motion prototyping to iteration based on design reviews, user testing, and data. You’ll work closely with product managers and developers to translate visual and motion ideas into technical requirements. You’ll combine strong visual taste with UX sensibility and make sure every detail lands, down to the last pixel and frame.
Tasks
Lead design for the Digital Relive product pillar- Develop concepts for shareable trip formats like Trip Reels and Map Video
- Create and refine motion prototypes based on feedback and data
- Build new visual and motion language within existing brand guidelines
- Work with product managers and developers on technical requirements
- Make visual examples that clearly show how things should look and feel
- Guide design reviews, user testing, and iterations

What Polarsteps offers
Salary range of EUR 75,000 to 90,000 gross per year including 8% holiday allowance- Roughly EUR 6,250 to 7,500 per month

What you’ll need
At least 5 years of experience designing visually driven products- Strong portfolio with shipped work focused on typography, motion, layout, and storytelling
- Experience with Figma and prototyping tools like Principle or Protopie
- Hands-on motion and video skills, for example in After Effects and Premiere
- Experience designing native mobile apps
- Proactive mindset and strong collaboration and feedback skills
- Comfortable in an agile team that iterates quickly
