What you'll do
As a UX Research Intern, you’ll dive into a world of extraordinary objects and even more extraordinary users. You’ll help Catawiki understand how buyers experience the marketplace, from discovering items to returning for new auctions. You’ll support both qualitative and quantitative research and take part in the full research process: defining questions, choosing methods, recruitment, interviews, usability tests, analysis and sharing insights. Working closely with Product, Design, Engineering and Data, you’ll turn customer behaviour, motivations and pain points into concrete improvements that truly make an impact.
Tasks
Support qualitative and quantitative research across the buyer journey
Plan and conduct interviews, usability tests, surveys and other studies
Help define research questions and choose the right methods
Recruit participants and prepare research materials
Analyse findings and turn them into clear insights and recommendations
Work with Product and Design so research informs product decisions
Organise existing research so teams can reuse it

What you’ll need
Enrolled at a Dutch university for the full internship period
Available for a full-time six-month internship starting in September or October 2026
Strong interest in user experience and customer research
Some experience with qualitative or quantitative research
Interest in interviews, usability testing, surveys, diary studies and desk research
Studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s in psychology, behavioural science, HCI, industrial design or a related field
