Service Designer at Acato

What you'll do

As a Service Designer at Acato, you take ownership of the full user experience, from early insight to concrete UX solutions. You dive into user needs, map customer journeys and service blueprints, and uncover how the backstage processes work. Then you translate those insights into wireframes, user flows, and clear concepts the team can build on right away. You work closely with designers, developers, strategists, and business developers, and you facilitate workshops that genuinely move clients and stakeholders forward. Perfect if you enjoy switching between research, strategy, and design, and get energy from complex challenges that you turn into something tangible.

Tasks

•   Set up and run qualitative user research independently
•   Create service blueprints, customer journeys, and ecosystem maps
•   Translate research insights into UX concepts, wireframes, and user flows
•   Facilitate workshops with clients, users, and stakeholders
•   Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across design, tech, and business
•   Explore new working methods and AI experiments in your research workflow

What Acato offers

•   Gross monthly salary between 3500 and 5500 based on 40 hours
•   Contract for 32 to 40 hours per week

What you’ll need

•   Work experience in service design, UX design, or design research
•   Experience with service design methods such as blueprints and journey mapping
•   You can translate insights into flows, wireframes, and UX solutions
•   You enjoy working with different disciplines
•   You are strong in communication and facilitation
•   You speak fluent Dutch
